iPresence, Co., Ltd. project conducted from February 2025 at Bunkyo City Office was completed in March 2025.

iPresence, Co., Ltd. conducted a model experiment using the company’s immersive telework solution Semi-Real Work and the Teleport web platform Teleport-Cloud aiming to realize diverse work styles for office workers.

The project introduced 16 telepresence robots as part of Semi-Real Work and implemented Teleport-Cloud at the Bunkyo City Office, tracking usage and conducting surveys.

Across the project, Teleport-Cloud recorded a total of 171 hours of use (approximately 21.4 days).

Survey evaluations from managers showed high positive ratings, with a large proportion answering “above expectations” or “met expectations.” Specifically, items such as “understanding on-site conditions” and “intra-department communication” had high rates of “above expectations,” indicating that telepresence robots contributed to smoothly managing supervisory tasks. Evaluations from general staff showed high proportions of “met expectations” or better for items such as “ability to consult/report to superiors in a timely manner,” “intra-department communication,” and “work-life balance.” Meanwhile, many respondents did not clearly perceive effects for items like “understanding on-site conditions” and “emergency response.”

Going forward, we will strengthen international expansion and deployment in offices, factories, and exhibition facilities.
