Bespoke, Inc.
Final Report
Bespoke, Inc. project at the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association, conducted in February 2025, has been completed.
Bespoke, Inc. conducted a model experiment using the company’s video training tool BeTrained to “visualize skill transfer,” aiming to promote understanding and acquisition of skills among young technicians.
In the project, the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association and Bespoke, Inc. collaborated to film the gabion-making work of seasoned technicians at Koishikawa Korakuen. The video data was edited using AI to produce training videos for BeTrained, with subtitles and an English translation. BeTrained was then provided to trainees participating in the gabion-making practical training hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association prior to the on-site training, and tests were conducted to confirm retention of training content. A post-training survey was also conducted.
Samples of the BeTrained Screens
Verification results: In the test to confirm retention of training content using BeTrained, among the 12 trainees who responded within the project period (including first-time practical training participants), eight scored 70 points or higher (out of 90), confirming that BeTrained effectively supports retention of job knowledge.
Test Score Trends
In the survey to confirm improved understanding of tasks through BeTrained, 40% of respondents answered “greatly improved” and the remaining 60% “somewhat improved,” with particularly high ratings among trainees participating in gabion-making training for the first time. The results demonstrate contributions to solving the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association’s challenges in building training systems for “traditional skill transfer to new staff” and “work content learned through manual tasks.”
Survey Results
Going forward, we will further contribute to building on-site training systems at metropolitan government field sites, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Park Association.
