Our mission at Ashirase is to "create wealth for people by walking." Barriers such as disability and language limit our ability to move around freely and meet the people we want to meet, which limits our possibilities in life. I believe that walking is not just transportation, but an intrinsic value that leads to social participation and the power of self-selection.
We have been developing a walking support system using our own vibrating navigation device and app, starting with the mobility issue of the visually impaired. In this project, we will implement indoor navigation at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office and take on the challenge of creating an experience where people can walk without getting lost even in places they visit for the first time.
We will expand the technology and products we have cultivated in Japan to the rest of the world and encourage many people to go out. We will move forward step by step toward the realization of a society in which anyone can interact with anyone at any time and go anywhere they want.
