Final Report

Cellid, Inc. project conducted in February 2025 in Shibuya City has been completed.

Cellid, Inc. conducted a model experiment utilizing the company’s AR glasses to solve social issues related to productivity improvements such as labor shortages, labor-saving, and skill transfer.

The project provided services using AR glasses as a remote communication tool between four construction sites overseen by the Shibuya City Facilities Maintenance Division and offices and conducted a survey.

Survey results: On the question of whether remote instructions and confirmations for on-site tasks could be performed, 71.4% answered they could do so without issues, confirming nearly smooth operation. The project also found that the service mainly contributed to reducing travel time and that approximately 85 minutes of total working time—including travel—could be saved (calculated from the average of answers from respondents).

Going forward, we will update device functions to address improvements identified in this project and pursue horizontal deployment to industries facing similar challenges, including overseas markets.
