Cynaps Inc.
Final Report
Cynaps Inc. project conducted from January 2024 at three facilities in Ōta City (Kamukamu Shin-Kamata, Haneda Regional Promotion Center, and Ōta City Industrial Plaza) was completed in February 2024.
Cynaps Inc. measured CO2 levels at each facility and controlled ventilation devices according to those levels while measuring changes in the electric current.
Measurements alternated between controlled operation (even-numbered days) and simulated conventional operation (odd-numbered days), and average consumption values over a set period were calculated and compared.
Verification results were as follows:
Kamukamu Shin-Kamata Electricity Reduction
Industry Plaza (1F) Electricity Reduction
Industry Plaza (4F) Electricity Reduction
Annual reduction estimates
Note: Annual reduction calculation: 25 yen/kWh for 12 months for ventilation and 8 months for air conditioning
-
Kamukamu Shin-Kamata
- Ventilation: −88.94% (annualized: 55,927 yen saved: 2,237.09 kWh saved; CO2 emissions reduced by 1,029.06 kg)
- Air conditioning: −18.86% (annualized: 56,820 yen saved: 2,272.8 kWh saved; CO2 emissions reduced by 1,045.49 kg)
-
Haneda Regional Promotion Center
- Ventilation: −87.97% (annualized: 182,774 yen saved: 7,310.95 kWh saved; CO2 emissions reduced by 3,363.04 kg)
- Air conditioning: +18.38% (annual calculation not possible)
-
Ōta City Industrial Plaza
- 1F PiO Front
- Ventilation: −98.19% (annualized: 37,394 yen saved: 1,495.77 kWh saved; CO2 emissions reduced by 688.05 kg)
- Air conditioning: −9.11% (annualized: 33,300 yen saved: 1,332 kWh saved; CO2 emissions reduced by 612.72 kg)
-
4F Offices
- Ventilation: −98.19% (annualized: 1,383,350 yen saved: 55,334 kWh saved; CO2 emissions reduced by 25,453.64 kg)
- Air conditioning: −15.56% (annualized: 22,980 yen saved: 919.2 kWh saved; CO2 emissions reduced by 422.83 kg)
Note: Abnormal values on February 26 and February 28 excluded
- 1F PiO Front
The verification showed that energy-saving ventilation control effectively reduces energy consumption of HVAC equipment and suppresses peak electricity demand.
Going forward, we will utilize the verification results from this project and promote introduction through public procurement.
