SORA Technology Co.,Ltd
SORA Technology Inc., in collaboration with local stakeholders (Nairobi City County Government and local related organizations), is utilizing past disaster data, flood damage information, and waterborne disease information to predict the risk and scale of future floods, as well as waterborne disease outbreaks like Cholera through their product, SORA Health Intelligence Room. They are also advancing discussions with local stakeholders on the utilization of the simulation results.

Interview with local Stakeholders
- Interviews with local stakeholders was conducted during the Oversea Programs in August. The scope of responsibilities and needs of each stakeholder, and allocated roles accordingly was identified through the interview.

Contract Preparation / PoC Site Selection
- After discussion about the collection of past disaster information, contracts were signed with local stakeholders. Concurrently, with the cooperation of local stakeholders, investigation on damage situation, support needs, and feasibility of demonstration in Nairobi City was conducted, leading to the final decision on the demonstration sites.
Data Collection / Model Construction
- Past disaster information was collected from local stakeholders, enabling the construction of a simulation model on the risk and scale of flood and waterborne disease outbreaks.

Discussion on the Simulation Model Utilization

Discussion on the utilization and potential future usage of the simulation model are conducted with the local stakeholders.
UI is designed based on each specific usage accordingly.
PoC Result Report
- The analyzation result of the simulation model, as well as the utilization methods for preventing the occurrence and spread of flood and waterborne disease damage through this model, is reported to the City of Nairobi.
